A Super Bowl Concert Commemorating The Eagles First Title

In case you forgot, which is highly unlikely, the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl. After defeating the New England Patriots, Philadelphia has reveled in the glory of defeating the ultimate dynasty. We’ve had the parade, we’ve rewatched the game several times, we’ve watched the championship season DVD. We’ve been enjoying the victory and looking forward to the beginning of a new dynasty. However, now we can attend the Super Bowl Concert!

There is a video clip of Doug Pederson telling the players during training camp that “7-9 sucks” and that the 2017-18 season would be different. After starting the season hot, the Eagles had every hope of a Super Bowl championship. However, the injury bug had a different idea. After losing players like Jason Peters, Jordan Hicks, Chris Maragos, Darren Sproles, other players stepped up and answered the bell. Eagles fans were thankful for the well-built roster but also thinking that our Pro-Bowl IR list could not get much worse. Then, the unthinkable happened. Carson Wentz tore his ACL and true panic set in across the fan base. We had Nick Foles, a guy who once threw 7 touchdowns in one game and 27 touchdowns in a season, but would he be able to complete our dream?

Foles delivered on the biggest stage, winning the Super Bowl as well as the Super Bowl MVP title to overcome Tom Brady’s 505 yards and 3 touchdowns. The story of the 2017-18 Philadelphia Eagles is one unmatched in Super Bowl history.

The best quality about Philadelphia sports fans is their emotion and passion for their teams. In order to capture those emotions, there will be a Super Bowl Concert held this summer.

The Event Itself

Where Is Your Money Going?

Some of the money from this event will go to the Mann Center. However, some of the proceeds will go to the Eagles Autism Challenge. The Eagles Autism Challenge, according to their website, “is dedicated to raising funds for innovative research and programs to help unlock the mystery of autism.”

The Eagles host a one-day bike ride and 5K to support the program. Eagles players, former players, coaches, cheerleaders, executives, and SWOOP attend the event. Click here to read more about the event.
